KEDI 2026 MALARIA MONTH DONATION OUTREACH: AN EXPRESSION OF IMPACT, COMPASSION & TRANSFORMATION
KEDI 2026 Malaria Outreach: Impact, Compassion & Transformation
The KEDI 2026 Malaria Outreach, sponsored by the KEDI Impact Fund, is one of the most impactful corporate social responsibility initiatives of KEDI Healthcare Industries Nigeria Limited. In particular, the program aimed to support malaria-prone communities with preventive materials while also increasing public health awareness and education.
Every April, KEDI observes Malaria Awareness Month. In 2026, however, the company expanded its activities beyond awareness campaigns. As a result, KEDI conducted a 10-day “Myth vs. Fact” campaign across its social media platforms. Furthermore, it launched a nationwide donation outreach that reached 25 communities.
KEDI Malaria Outreach Reaches 25 Communities
The outreach team visited communities across Nigeria. At the same time, residents warmly welcomed the initiative and actively participated in the activities. KEDI distributed educational materials and preventive items designed to reduce malaria transmission.

KEDI Malaria Outreach Prevention Materials Distribution
The donation campaign ran from 16 April to 28 April 2026. During this period, thousands of residents participated in the outreach activities.
KEDI distributed nearly 2,000 branded insecticide-treated mosquito nets. In addition, the company provided close to 2,000 branded buckets and over 2,000 packs of Qinghao Capsules. Moreover, nearly 2,000 packs of KEDI Nano Silver Antibacterial Soap and over 2,000 hand fans were distributed alongside malaria awareness flyers.
Because of this comprehensive support, communities were better equipped for malaria prevention. The total value of the donations, therefore, amounted to several million naira.
Free Testing and Health Education
Residents in Gboko, Sagamu, Ringim, Zing, and Obubra benefited from free malaria testing. Following this, KEDI provided Qinghao Capsules to individuals who tested positive. Additionally, others received the product as a preventive measure.
The outreach also focused heavily on health education. For example, KEDI representatives educated residents on malaria causes, transmission, prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment. Furthermore, they emphasized environmental sanitation practices that reduce mosquito breeding.
As a result, the combination of education and practical support significantly strengthened the impact of the outreach.
Communities Express Appreciation
Traditional rulers, youth groups, women associations, and community members expressed appreciation for the initiative. In many cases, they described the outreach as timely and highly beneficial, especially in areas with limited access to healthcare resources.
Moreover, community leaders noted that the program provided valuable support. Consequently, it encouraged stronger collective action against malaria.
KEDI’s Commitment to Health and Community Development
The successful KEDI 2026 Malaria Outreach reflects the company’s commitment to improving lives through health-focused interventions and sustainable community development.
Malaria remains a major public health challenge across Africa. Therefore, KEDI continues to support prevention, education, and grassroots intervention efforts through meaningful partnerships and community engagement.
The outreach also featured the distribution of Qinghao Capsules, one of KEDI’s leading anti-malaria products.
Ultimately, the organization believes that together we can make a difference. Together, we can defeat malaria.
