GRAND OPENING OF KEDI 14TH TRAINING CENTRE IN BAYELSA STATE
Bayelsa State, popularly known as the “Glory of all Lands” experienced a massive and colorful blast as KEDI Healthcare Industries Nigeria Limited on Saturday, 14th August, 2021, officially opened her 14th Training Centre for business operations in the glorious state amidst all glam and gaiety.
The 3-day event which commenced on Thursday, 12th August, 2021 was exceptional as strategic parts of Edepie city were taken over by distributors and staff of KEDI who excitedly danced, sang and proclaimed KEDI health and wealth message to the inhabitants of the city.
Coming as a prompt response to the groaning of the Bayelsans for quality healthcare products as well as a lucrative business platform geared towards the emancipation and poverty alleviation in the state, the Training Centre was strategically cited in the heart of the city at Tinacious Building, Tinacious Street, Edepie, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The opening of additional Training Centres is in line with our Five Years Development Plan hinged on penetrating deeply into remote areas as well as to encourage easy access, business convenience and value for the citizenry both existing and prospective distributors alike.
The Bayelsa Training Centre is the fourteenth of its kind as KEDI already has thirteen Training Centres strategically located in different parts of the country namely: Ikeja, Apapa, Uyo, Benin, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Yola, Kano, Ilorin, Abuja, Bauchi, Onitsha and Ibadan respectively.
The grand opening of KEDI Bayelsa Training Centre was rather a unique one, different from that of the previous thirteen Training Centres. The event began on Thursday, 12th August, 2021 with a Road Show which featured hundreds of distributors across the metropolis. The Road Show which kicked-off by 10:00am was properly coordinated by not just the staff of KEDI Bayelsa Office but also representatives of Federal Road Safety Corps who painstakingly maintained orderliness and ensured that commuters did not impede the rally in the process of plying the designated routes earmarked for the Road Show. Different public places were visited, flyers were distributed and distributors engaged commuters and residents while the Disc Jockey {DJ} thrilled passersby with soul-lifting songs.
The glamorous event continued on Friday, 13th August, 2021 with a well-organized “Music and Dance Extravaganza”. Distributors trooped out en mass, styled in the company’s colour – yellow and blue, danced heartily in front of the office as the Disc Jockey dished out good tunes which attracted people from far and near to the office. Flyers were then distributed to the onlookers as distributors engaged them with KEDI’s health and wealth message.
On Saturday, 14th August, 2021, it was time for the grand finale of the opening ceremony. Representing the management at the event was Mr. Joshua Okpanwu, the Marketing Deputy Manager who warmly received and welcomed everyone and assured them of the management’s commitment to always put the interest of her distributors and customers first by meeting and exceeding their expectations with regards to the provision of highly beneficial policies to help them enjoy health, wealth and growth always.
Also in attendance were Mr. Nathaniel Adede, KEDI South Regional Manager, Mr. Abel Akogwu, the Branch Marketing Officer, Ms. Anna Onwuli, the Branch Cashier and Mr. Ifeanyi Ogbugbulu, the Branch Stock keeper. Top leaders were not left out as they all came from far and near to grace the event and share their success story with the attendees. Top leaders in attendance include: Mr. Bolanle Ogundimiyo, Mr. and Mrs. Ahmed, Mr. Victor Abimbola, Mrs. Agnes Nwabueze, Mrs. Chidinma Jefferson, Mrs. Harvestina Ese, Mr. Emmanuel Ogbonnah, Mr. Samuel Bassey, Dr. Joshua Onodugo amongst others.
The event commenced at exactly 10:15am with an opening prayer after which the Branch Marketing Officer gave a welcome address and the Marketing Deputy Manager received the attendees on behalf of the management. Dr. Joshua Onodugo took the audience through an insightful session about KEDI products, efficacy, usage and so on. Taking over immediately was Mr. Bolanle Ogundimiyo who left no stone unturned as far as KEDI Compensation Plan is concerned. Afterwards, attendees were given the opportunity to ask questions concerning the two presentations which the lecturers provided appropriate answers to.
Top Leaders then took turns to share with the attendees, how KEDI turned their lives around from nothing, after which the Branch Marketing Officer led the attendees to cut the cake which was tastefully decorated in KEDI colour. The ribbon cutting session was done by the Marketing Deputy Manager, Top Leaders and Dignitaries in attendance.
Five lucky winners emerged at the end of the raffle draw session and they got one Dolphin Massager each. All the attendees were given one Facial Mask each, food and drinks were evenly distributed to the hundreds of people present.
Speaking in an after-event interview, the distributors expressed their gratitude to the management of KEDI for remembering the great Bayelsa State and they unanimously promised to contribute their quota in ensuring that the entire Bayelsa State becomes KEDIFIED. Group photographs were taken, attendees ate, drank, danced and left the event with so much excitement in readiness for the KEDIFICATION of not just Bayelsa State but the world at large.
