GROOMING GREAT BUSINESS LEADERS – KEDI 2021 LEADERSHIP TRAINING (FIRST EDITION)

Great leaders have long understood that leadership and learning are inextricably linked because they recognize that the ability to constantly learn, innovate and improve is vital to their success. Today’s successful leaders are nimble and great learners who stay open to new information and trends for optimum excellence.

It is against this backdrop and in an attempt to ensure that distributors are mentally equipped with modern innovative business practices to enable them position themselves rightly and achieve remarkable results this business year that the first edition of KEDI 2021 Leadership Training was successfully held at all KEDI Training Centres and some other selected centres across the country.

Coming up after a longtime due to the lockdown, restrictions on public gatherings and the setbacks caused by the effect of the deadly Coronavirus Disease which ravaged the global polity in 2020; the first edition of KEDI 2021 Leadership Training was warmly received and attended by Five Star Consultant Distributors and above across the country.

Some of the locations where the training was held include: Apapa Training Centre in Lagos, Kano Training Centre in Kano State, Benin Training Centre in Edo State, Enugu Training Centre in Enugu State, Port-Harcourt Training Centre in Rivers State, Ilorin Training Centre in Kwara State, Uyo Training Centre in Akwa-Ibom State, Abuja Training Centre in the Federal Capital Territory, Yola Training Centre in Adamawa State, Ibadan Training Centre in Oyo State, Bauchi Training Centre in Bauchi State, Onitsha Training Centre in Anambra State, Owerri Regional Office in Imo State, Onitsha Regional Office in Anambra State, Abeokuta Regional Office in Ogun State, Osogbo Regional Office in Osun State, Ado-Ekiti Regional Office in Ekiti State, Aba Regional Office in Abia State and Southwest Regional Office in Ibadan, Oyo State. Some other centres were also selected to host this training like (Service Centre 619) Agbor in Delta State, (an annex of Service Centre 536) Lafia in Nasarawa State and (Service Centre 356) Akure in Ondo State.

Representing the Company at this 2-day training were: Mr. Michael Wu – Sales Manager, Mr. Charles Nweke – Marketing Manager, Ms. Margaret Idonije – North Regional Supervisor, Mr. Nathaniel Adede – South Regional Supervisor, Mr. Nicholas Anigala – North East Regional Officer, Ms. Kelechi Onyeri – North West Regional Officer, Mr. Abel Akogwu – South East Regional Marketing Assistant, Mr. Abiodun Omolade – South West Regional Marketing Assistant, Mr. Emmanuel Ogazi – South East Regional Officer, Mrs. Amaka Annieh – South South Regional Marketing Assistant and all Branch Staff nationwide. 

Top leaders, Community Leaders and Dignitaries graced the training at the different locations to validate and add glam to the event. Some of the top leaders and dignitaries who graced the training in the different venues across the country include: Mr. Umar Tukur, Dr. Alfa Yusufu, Dr. Hope Morris, Mr.  Abdulfatai Adeshina, Mr. David Olayinka, Mr. Ikenna Duru, Mrs. Gloria Eze, Mr. Isaac Ajisafe, Mr. Muiliyu Fatai Adesina, Mr. Richard Kilanko, Alhaji Adamu Ibrahim, Mr. Adeniran Adeyinka, Mrs. Omolara Oyelere, Mr. Mufutau Najeem, Mr. Egbeniyi Moses, Dr. Kawuwa Bakari to mention a few.

With the aim of instilling leadership qualities into the distributors, different lectures (Power Point Presentation) were delivered on Code of Ethics of KEDI business, Team Management, Importance & Purpose of Leadership, Conflict Management, Excellent Leadership Qualities, the Intricacies of MLM business, Financial Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, the Art of Communication in Business  amongst others.

In Lafia, Nasarawa State, there was a purposeful and strategic business meeting between the Company’s Representative, Top Leaders and the Service Centre Owners present with the aim of mapping out strategies on how to move KEDI business to the next level within and outside the state.

The resource persons at Ado-Ekiti training took the delegates through impactful sessions, dissecting each topic with relevant modern examples aimed at broadening the knowledge of the attendees as well as preparing them on how to grow in the competitive business.

In Osogbo, the turnout was massive. Distributors trooped out to tap from the knowledge bank of the lecturers who delivered nothing short of excellence. Top leaders present also shared their KEDI story in a bid to inspire the distributors towards the attainment of their business goals.

Katsina state was lit as the highly motivated participants left the training venue with great enthusiasm to launch into the business world, innovate and dominate while impacting their world. Irrespective of the ongoing Ramadan fast, the unperturbed distributors had a swell time with their lecturers who delivered the lecture in Hausa language for smooth communication and easy comprehension.

The delegates at Owerri in Imo state couldn’t conceal their excitement as they received the Leadership Training Certificate which was issued to them by the management. Airing his view in a brief interview after the training, one of the delegates affirmed that the certificate issued to them will undoubtedly give them more validation as they go about prospecting with the aim of growing their team.

The people of Akure in Ondo state appreciated the management of KEDI for investing heavily into making sure that distributors get the requisite knowledge for business excellence. They also urged the management to provide more of such insightful training as it will certainly help distributors to grow remarkably.

The training was well coordinated, the attendees left the venue elated and determined to become better leaders to their respective teams as a result of the training. Group photographs were taken with the Top Leaders, Dignitaries and Company’s Representative in each location.

Speaking on behalf of the management at Kano state, the Sales Manager assured distributors of the management’s unwavering commitment to continuously provide qualitative training to equip distributors with the necessary skills to succeed in the business and live the life of their dreams. He also reiterated the Company’s decision to always put the interest of the distributors first in all her policies and decisions.
