MR. WILLIAM ZHAO (CHARIMAN/FOUNDER)

Mr. William Zhao was born in China. His upbringing was centred around Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). He has profound knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicines with his study experience in various institutions over the years. Mr. William Zhao worked in various state-owned companies and foreign companies holding senior managerial roles before he founded KEDI Healthcare.

In 2000, Mr. William Zhao went to Ghana, West Africa where he worked as a Manager in a pharmaceutical group company for several years. Inspired by the wonders of nature and the quest to make quality and affordable healthcare products and services accessible to everyone regardless of income type, social status, race, tribe or religion; Mr. William Zhao moved back to China and established KEDI Healthcare Industries (Hong Kong) Limited. From China, he explored the world in search of the richest raw materials because he believes that putting together the best ingredients will help mankind live without having to worry about any type of disease.

Because of his love for the African Continent, he returned to Africa in 2005 and made Africa the first stop of his expansion drive by establishing KEDI Healthcare Industries Nigeria Limited which commenced operations in 2006 and Vitanature Healthcare Industries Ghana Limited (Formerly known as KEDI Healthcare Ghana) in 2008 respectively. Since then, KEDI has expanded beyond Africa to over 40 countries across the world.

His unique management style and devotion to serve the African people have made him a lovable figure amongst the staff, distributors, friends and government officials of African countries.
