KEDI IMPACT FUND AWARDS MAIDEN SCHOLARSHIPS TO ORPHANAGE CHILDREN
In a landmark move to empower underprivileged children, KEDI Impact Fund has awarded scholarships to six children between the ages of six and fourteen, from three orphanage homes across Nigeria, marking the official beginning of the Fund’s life-changing projects.
Two children each were selected from House of Chloe Orphanage (Lagos State), Way to the Nation’s Children Home (Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State), and Arra’ayah Orphanage Foundation (Yola, Adamawa State). The scholarships will cover their education beginning from the new academic session which will commence in September 2025.
Representatives of KEDI Healthcare’s management team visited each of the orphanage homes in August to meet with the children, encourage them ahead of their new school year, give them some back-to-school gifts and formally conclude the sponsorship arrangements. Our Yola Team visited Arra’ayah Orphanage Foundation on Saturday, 2nd August, 2025; our Uyo Team visited Way to the Nation’s Children Home on Saturday, 9th August, 2025 while our Lagos Team visited House of Chloe Orphanage on Thursday, 28th August, 2025. The visits also provided an opportunity to interact with the homes’ management, reinforcing KEDI’s commitment to supporting disadvantaged communities.
Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Roger Luo, KEDI Operations Director, described the scholarship given to these children as the opening chapter of the Fund’s vision to build a world where every individual, regardless of their circumstances, can live a healthy, educated, and fulfilling life. He further revealed that beyond the scholarship program, KEDI Impact Fund will focus on other impactful projects which includes donating food items to orphanage and motherless babies’ homes in 17 locations across Nigeria scheduled for October 2025 as well as donating equipment to incapacitated educational institutions in the near future.
In view of these upcoming laudable projects, we are extending a call to communities, schools, and institutions in need of support from the Fund to reach out to us for possible collaboration that will help bring sustainable change to their environment.
