PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE FOR BUSINESS GROWTH: KEDI 2021 PRODUCT TRAINING {FIRST EDITION}

Product knowledge is as essential in Network Marketing as it is in the conventional business. It improves product communication, prescription and usage, boosts product enthusiasm and confidence. It also instills product trust and respect in the customer which invariably translates to a positive customer experience. No matter how efficacious and fantastic a product is, it may not achieve its intended purpose if the right knowledge is lost that’s why the management of KEDI Healthcare Industries Nigeria Limited invested heavily in training her distributors across the country on the efficacy, composition and proper usage of all her products.

The training became imperative in line with our Five Years Development Plan hinged on providing continuous free training to mentally equip the distributors for business excellence and also in response to the distributors’ request for a special training where they’ll be practically tutored on basics of the company’s unique products.

As a listening and reliable business partner, KEDI conducted the first edition of her highly insightful Product Training on Monday, 17th May, 2021 and Tuesday, 18th May, 2021 at all her Training Centres and Regional Offices nationwide. Open to all interested distributors regardless of their membership status, the training was well organized, aptly delivered and received with open arms by the distributors who stormed the different venues ready to trained by the highly versatile, skilled and seasoned lecturers.

The locations where the training was held are Apapa Training Centre in Lagos, Kano Training Centre in Kano State, Benin Training Centre in Edo State, Enugu Training Centre in Enugu State, Port-Harcourt Training Centre in Rivers State, Ilorin Training Centre in Kwara State, Uyo Training Centre in Akwa-Ibom State, Abuja Training Centre in the Federal Capital Territory, Yola Training Centre in Adamawa State, Ibadan Training Centre in Oyo State, Bauchi Training Centre in Bauchi State, Onitsha Training Centre in Anambra State, Owerri Regional Office in Imo State, Onitsha Regional Office in Anambra State, Abeokuta Regional Office in Ogun State, Osogbo Regional Office in Osun State, Ado-Ekiti Regional Office in Ekiti State, Aba Regional Office in Abia State and Southwest Regional Office in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Representing the Company at this 2-day training were: Mr. Michael Wu – Sales Manager, Mr. Charles Nweke – Marketing Manager, Ms. Margaret Idonije – North Regional Supervisor, Mr. Nathaniel Adede – South Regional Supervisor, Mr. Nicholas Anigala – North East Regional Officer, Ms. Kelechi Onyeri – North West Regional Officer, Mr. Abel Akogwu – South East Regional Marketing Assistant, Mr. Abiodun Omolade – South West Regional Marketing Assistant, Mr. Emmanuel Ogazi – South East Regional Officer and all Branch Staff nationwide. 

To validate the training and also share their robust experiences and product testimonies with the attendees, Top Leaders in the business turned up at the different venues where the training was held. Some of the top leaders in attendance include: Mr. Kilanko Richard, Mr. Olatunji Abiola, Mr. Lukman Wahab, Dr. David Emmanuel, Dr. Manlet Peters, Mr. Cyraian Ubong, Mrs. Angel Ubong, Mr. Henry Amafule, Dr. Ikenna Duru, Chief Rich Adiele, Mr. Isaac Ajisafe, Mr. Egbeniyi Moses, Mr. Adeniran Adeyinka, Mr. Alani Abiodun amongst others.

Unlike other training, the uniqueness of KEDI Product Training lies in the practicality of each topic as handled by the lecturers. Distributors were also allowed to share their products’ experiences gathered over the years. There was an outpouring of questions from the distributors especially with regards to the proper prescription of each product.

In Aba, Abia State attendees were taken through insightful sessions on the application and perfect combination of KEDI products, do’s and don’ts of KEDI products, functionality of each product, ingredients of each product as well as modern marketing strategies to help distributors sell the products fast and well.

In Onitsha, Anambra State distributors expressed their profound gratitude to the management of KEDI for their thoughtfulness and initiative as they admitted that the knowledge gathered from this training will go a long way in helping them correctly present, represent and prescribe the products to the end users which will undoubtedly translate to more sales on the long run.

The efficacy of KEDI 7-Layer Sanitary Pad was tested in Ibadan, Oyo State as the ecstatic audience couldn’t hide their amazement when the sanitary napkin used for the experiment did not emit a single drop of liquid unlike other brands. This ascertained the fact that KEDI 7-Layer Sanitary Pad is not just antiseptic and antibacterial but it also has seven layers of protection to keep its users fresh and comfortable round the clock.

Top distributors in Owerri, Imo State took turns to share their KEDI product testimonies. They also exhaustively explained the importance of proper prescription of the products in order to get the desired result. In an after-event interview, one of the lecturers enjoined the management of KEDI not to relent in mentally equipping her distributors because distributors will represent the company in their different geographic locations to the level of their knowledge hence, continuous training and retraining exercise should be provided for them.

In his closing remark at Bauchi Training Centre, the Sales Manager extended the management’s love and warm wishes to all the distributors and assured them that there are more free and phenomenal training lined up for them in the course of the year. He also urged them to not just attend the training but strive to make the most of the training by replicating all the nuggets dished out by the lecturers. As is his usual practice, he reiterated the Company’s commitment to always put the interest of the distributors first in all her policies and decisions in a bid to help them grow. Indeed, KEDI remains undeterred in providing her distributors and customers with excellent products and services to help them live a fulfilled life.
