GIVING LOVE TO THE ABANDONED – 2019 KEDI DONATION CAMPAIGN

In a bid to fulfill and sustain one of her core values which is hinged on speeding up the delivery of essential resources through donations aimed at impacting the society immeasurably, 2019 KEDI DONATION CAMPAIGN was successfully held in all the States where her Branch Offices are located.

Different homes catering to the needs of the less privileged in the society ranging from homes for the orphans and vulnerable children to homes for the destitute, homes for abandoned children, homes for mentally retarded children amongst others were visited on the 19th of November, 2019 in all our host States – Lagos, Enugu, Edo, Kano, Adamawa, FCT, Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, Kwara and Bauchi respectively.

The events were duly attended by the Branch Marketing Officers, other branch staff and distributors who yearned to part of the laudable feat. In Lagos, the event was attended by the Operations Manager – Mr. Roger Luo, the Marketing Manager – Mr. Eco Zhang, the Training Officer – Mr. Amana Amodu, the Information Officer – Miss Serah Egbuna, the Event Officer – Mr. Felix Adedoyin, Apapa Branch Marketing Officer – Mr. Shadrach Omoregba and our Graphic Designers – Mr. Kunle Ogunkoya and Mr. Muyiwa Kawonise.

In Lagos, the event was flagged off at exactly 1:10pm at Beth Torrey Home, Festac, with an opening address by the Administrative Manager of the home – Mrs. Temitayo who warmly welcomed the delegates of KEDI Healthcare Industries Nigeria Limited, introduced the Staff of the Home to all present and gave a brief history about the home – activities since inception, mode of operation and so on.

Following swiftly was the welcome address by the Operations Manager of KEDI Healthcare Industries Nigeria Limited which was delivered in Chinese and well interpreted by the Marketing Manager. He reiterated the company’s commitment to staying unswerving in the fulfilment of her Corporate Social Responsibility Plan in donating to more homes and impacting more lives in the future.

The Training Officer gave a brief lecture to the students on HYGIENE – the various types and benefits of a good personal hygiene and also engaged the students and their teachers in a game on PERSONAL HYGIENE after which it was time for the donation proper.

The collection of items donated in the different States include: Bags of rice, Cartons of spaghetti, Story books, Beverages, Cartons of biscuits and candies, Cartons of noodles, Tin tomatoes, Bags of Semovita, Packs of soft drinks, Gallons of groundnut oil, KEDI jotter and handkerchief amongst others.

Group photographs were taken with the Staff of the home and few children (where it was allowed) and the children danced heartily with KEDI Staff. The Matron of the home, Mrs. Benedicta brought the event to a close with the vote of thanks. She appreciated the Management of KEDI Healthcare Industries for showing love to the children and prayed for the continuous growth and expansion of the company. KEDI indeed exceeds expectation in the delivery of her promises!
