CELEBRATING THE WINNERS OF KEDI SCHOLARSHIP CAMPAIGN

It was indeed a season of creativity, innovation and originality at its best as 2019 KEDI Scholarship Campaign spurred up the ingenuity in her distributors’ kids immeasurably.
As part of the company’s 5 year plan to cover the educational expenses of her distributors’ children by awarding them scholarship, an edutainment contest was organized for children between the ages of 6 and 12 years old to showcase their oratory prowess, writing capability or poetic ability.
The contest was flagged off officially online with series of awareness posts which commenced on the 8th of July and spanned through till the 15th of July when the actual post was released to the anticipating audience who couldn’t wait to participate in the campaign.
Distributors’ kids were to make a video of 30 seconds max, telling a story of their family in relation to KEDI that is, how their families have been transformed through KEDI business in form of an essay reading, a poem recitation or an artwork display (drawing, painting, hand-made craft e.tc), follow us on Facebook or Instagram, upload the video, hashtag myfamilyandkedi2019, mention us and share the video to get the highest likes on their shared videos.

At the end of the contest, hundreds of entries were received from different children across the country. The kids displayed great skills and creativity as they brought forth into limelight their raw talents in preparing their videos to the admiration of all. Majority of the entries were sent to our Facebook page while a few were sent to our Instagram handle.
The entries received were subjected to thorough scrutiny in view of the contest rules and amongst the many entries received, the four most exceptional ones scaled through having met all the contest requirements.

Coincidentally, the four winners emerged from our Facebook page. Emerging as the overall winner was Michelle Chinacherem Anyiam from Enugu who came first with 1,100 likes, Akhamoigu Gift from Benin came second with 882 likes, Oshodin Ese Gold came third from Benin with 766 likes and Iluebe Triumph Godsdivinefavour from Benin came fourth with 180 likes respectively.

The winners were contacted and celebrated in an award ceremony held during the weekly seminar in the respective Training Centres where the winners emanated from. The winner got a cash prize of N 100,000; the second position received N 80,000; the third position got N 50,000 and the fourth position got N 10,000 respectively as earlier promised.
