MAOLUD NABIYY CELEBRATION 2018

Every 12th of Rabiu-ul-Awwal is a special date in the sight of Muslims. It is not only being the third month in the Islamic calendar but also special because Muslims celebrate the birth of a great Prophet of God.

The birth of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) is the best thing that has happened to humanity which is the reason for the yearly celebration. It is meant to serve as a reminder for Muslims to follow the exemplary life of Prophet Mohammed (SAW). Allah in his Holy Book Chapter 33 said; “… Prophet Mohammed is an epitome of every good thing, so every Muslim should see him as a role model. However, the best way to celebrate the birth of Mohammed is to give alms and listen to teachings that will boost their faith.

We should also use this special day to pray for past prophets of Allah and also pray for our country.
