Apapa lies near the mouth of Lagos lagoon, is a busy area contains ports and terminals for various commodities, a place where many transportation companies located, full of business opportunities and people with serious business mindsets. Follow the company’s ambitious of expanding nationwide and the opportunities seen in Apapa, KEDI officially celebrated the grand opening of her new Apapa Training Centre on the 29^th of September, after a road show carried out on the 28^th of September 2018. This training centre also marked as the number ten training centre of the company in Nigeria. Present at the event were; KEDI Sales manager, Mr. Ben Wu, KEDI Marketing manager, Mr. Echo, KEDI Apapa branch manager,Mrs. Camila, KEDI Ikeja branch manager, Mr. Kingsley, Apapa stock keeper, Mr. Godspower alongside some KEDI top distributors in person of Dr. Joshua Onodugo, Mr. Emmanuel Reubenson, Mrs. John and Mrs. Zion. In order to create awareness for the grand opening ceremony, a road show kicked off from the Apapa training centre at 12:30pm after seminar on Friday, 28^th September. A van decorated with KEDI banners carried the DJ and some cheerleaders marched through the streets bordering the office, sharing flyers and also sensitizing pedestrian the presence of KEDI Healthcare in Apapa, and at the same time inviting them to the grand opening of the Training Centre. Some members of LASTMA were also on ground to maintain traffic and create orderliness. The road show ended as everyone returned back to the Apapa office and light refreshment followed suit. The grand opening ceremony commenced at about 10:30am began with opening prayers by both Christian and Muslim. Canopies were set to accommodate the large number of attendees present, the high table was also decorated for the distinguished personnel, Mr. Majek anchoring. All attendees were welcomed and special guests were addressed. Followed that, the KEDI Marketing manager Mr. Eco gave an opening speech to appreciate the presence of everyone and briefed attendees about KEDI’s development plan and interests in this region. It was also stated that the Apapa conference room was used for free quantum test and consultation, as all present were given the avenue to partake in it. There was a high motivation from Mrs. John to the audience as she advised the first timers to join KEDI business and utilize the opportunity that has come their way to make an impact in their generation by changing their lives and that of their families for good. After listening to the motivational speech, twenty-five people registered immediately as others promised to register after the event. Dr. Joshua Onodugo gave an extensive lecture on health, telling everyone that health is very vital and all should endeavour to live healthy at all time, while Mr. Emmanuel Reubenson took the business aspect by initiating it into the minds of the attendees, the various ways to explore and achieve success in KEDI business and stated that, KEDI is a company that brings health and wealth to people There were lots of testimonies, and more registrations as everyone had fun and were excited for the new development in their community. As a tradition of the company’s office opening ceremony, red ribbons were cut by special guests to celebrate this special moment. Many attendees went home with amazing parcels and all were given refreshments. The event ended by 5pm with a total of four hundred and eighty-five people in attendance.
